Co-operation of an Aerospace manufacturer with a UK company

The Challenge:

One of the world's top aerospace manufacturers contacted DE&M Consultancy concerning the possibility of improving their position in the European market with their highly specialized product upgrading and manufacturing capabilities. 

The client did not want to disclose too much before making sure they had the right potential partners - they needed reliability and discretion. It was critical that the partner should have the right technical and client skills to support the business opportunity



The Achievement:

DE&M Consultancy with the assistance of the relevant UK industrial organisations contacted and screened appropriate companies and institutions. 

The scoring of each company was carried out independently, and the most suitable company was chosen using a decision matrix. A Teaming Agreement was signed and the partnership was established.

In 2008, this team will be a main contender for at least two major European projects and may expand into other markets and business areas.
